A politician is a fellow who will lay down your life for his country. - Tex Guinan

“Riotous behavior will only stop after the entitlement class is remanded to self-reliance. And that will not start until productive and peaceful people demand education of new generations that teaches the basics, including American Exceptionalism.

Hippies, socialists, and Commies have infiltrated our school systems and have brainwashed every generation since the 1960s to believe that everything bad is America’s fault, and anything they don’t have is the fault of the greedy producing class. We have allowed government to control education content for our kids, inside government institutions, from the time they are in K-12, +4. Their heads are filled with whatever the unionized government bureaucrats pump into their impressionable heads, and then we wonder why they don’t have jobs after school, and why they are still living in our basements demanding food and iPhones. They don’t have a chance until grown-ups grow up, find a pair and revolutionize education. Our kids are taught what to think -- not how to think.

Until education is fixed, politicians will use these brainwashed morons to vote for confiscation from the productive class, and to empower the ruling class to steal from producers. The ruling class will ways be individually rich and richer, and use the balance of that wealth to dole out benefits to the entitlement class, thus making the entitlement class their dependents and guaranteed votes. Obviously, this path is unsustainable. The quality of life will inevitably fall, angering the entitlement class who shall wax ever more violent to take what ignorant, violent morons may actually believe to be rightfully theirs. But the ruling class will not “harm” them, for fear of offending their voting base. That is how you create Watts, Baltimore… and urban violence in every municipality where such treacherous, murderous behavior is tolerated by descent people.

Long term fix: fixing the schools = fixing the voting class = electing statesmen with a love for American Liberty. There is no alternative.”

We agree, Bill --- Thanks for sharing your thoughts -

“Since Obama became President and started subtly supporting race-baiting and cop-hating, mob violence is back in style.

Hordes of Occupy thugs took over parks, blocked traffic and vandalized property while cops were ordered to leave them alone. Ferguson was ripped to pieces while the Democratic governor held back the National Guard. BlackLivesMatter asshats have been blocking traffic across the country. There have been smaller violent outbursts in LA, Oakland and Brooklyn and now Baltimore is under siege by roving gangs of punks.

There’s a simple reason this is happening and it’s not criminals getting killed after confrontations with the police or the general animosity that liberals have worked so hard to develop between some black Americans and the cops -- although that obviously plays a role in setting the stage for all of this violence.

In truth, people who are scum riot and loot in towns like Ferguson and Baltimore for a very simple reason: they enjoy doing it and they believe they can get away with it.”

THIS is what happens when self-responsibility and civil discourse are discouraged. Hell, the frick'n Mayor of Baltimore is absolutely complicit in the injuries, theft and property damage sustained in that city after she commanded the police allow the rioters space to destroy and exercise their rights to protest. WTF!@#$%^&???

“Yes, she said it.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake stood before the news cameras over the weekend and really did say, “We also gave those who wish to destroy space to do that as well."

She uttered these words while explaining how she had sought to maintain “the very delicate balance” between the right to protest and the safety of police officers as a week of demonstrations over the death of Freddie Gray began to turn violent on Saturday.”

Governance 101 (For Democrats) ... and then the GOP Governor had to make the decision to regain control and to bring safety to Baltimore's citizens -

An analysis of social media traffic in downtown Baltimore Monday has unearthed striking connections to the protests in Ferguson, Mo. last year, according to a leading data mining firm that shared its findings exclusively with Fox News.

The firm, which asked to remain anonymous because of its government work, found between 20 and 50 social media accounts in Baltimore that were also tied to the peak period of violence in Ferguson. While further analysis is being conducted on the data, it suggests the presence of "professional protesters" or anarchists taking advantage of Freddie Gray's death to incite more violence.

It will prove illustrative should the Tide Foundation, the Communists' Party or other radical organizations supported by billionaire George Soros be tied to the social media frenzy that resulted in destruction riots. We can't wait to see where the digital trail leads -

“A nation’s prosperity is determined by the quantity and quality of labor and capital that are productively utilized.

Which means that it doesn’t make sense to have policies that penalize either saving and investment or working.

Yet that seems to be the favorite hobby of the political class.

And there are real consequences. A new study by a pair of economists, published by the National Bureau of Economic Research, has some interesting findings on the link between redistribution programs and labor supply.

It’s a bit wonky, given the way academics write, but they produce some important data on the negative unintended consequences of government dependency.”

America's political scene is like a broken record. Failed policies from the past reformed. Then to garner votes, professional politicians reinstate failed policies that end up with the same results. For the record, those policies steeped in the heritage of socialism ALWAYS fail, yet that doesn't deter the professional political class -

“Well. I really can't believe I am saying this. The U.S. Supreme Court is poised to tell us what marriage means. Not speculate; not explain. Tell: as in, "Wipe that smile off your face and listen to what I'm telling you."

We are at a remarkable moment in human affairs: one we would hardly have predicted 50 years ago at the start of our cultural upheavals. Historic understandings that drew, for the most part, support and sympathy no longer have footing, which is fine with the kind of folk -- they are in leadership roles all around us, including judgeships and presidential candidacies -- who think we're in the business of inventing a whole new way of life, atoning in the process for ancient sins.

And what would be considered an ancient sin? Preferring one ideal or mode of conduct over another one. Talking a lot about Truth. Those would be some of the more salient sins.

The court, as it merely entertains arguments for declaring same-sex marriage a civil right, gives countenance to the notion that many concepts evolve, change with the times, put on new garments and flap their wings.”

What a mess, and destined to become a bigger mess. Our culture is being turned upside down and inside out -

“National Guard troops fanned out through Baltimore, shield-bearing police officers blocked the streets and firefighters doused still-simmering blazes early Tuesday after riots, looting and violent unrest engulfed swaths of the city Monday.

The unrest came just hours after thousands of people attended a funeral for Freddie Gray , a 25-year-old black man who died in police custody earlier this month.

Fifteen officers were injured, and at least 27 people were arrested as Baltimore became the latest national flash point for race relations and law enforcement.”

Proof that the police will not, because of political reasons, ultimately protect us. The result in Maryland, with O'Malley's draconian gun laws, is a disaster for civilians. People were surrendering to the thugs, handing over money, and pleading with them not to burn their businesses. In the end, they torched them anyway.

“Violent clashes between police and angry crowds erupted on Baltimore’s streets Monday afternoon and fires burned into the night after hundreds gathered for the funeral of a 25-year-old black man who was fatally injured while in police custody.

Dozens of people threw bottles, bricks and other objects at police dressed in riot gear, injuring at least 15 officers.

Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said six of the officers were seriously hurt and required treatment at a shock-trauma hospital, though he added that they all would recover.”

Let's see ... more whites are killed by police than blacks ... Hmm ... When was the last time we witnessed the White Community erupting in riots and mayhem over the death of white career criminals at the hands of the police? That's right, queue the sounds of crickets -

The coercive Left's End of Discussion mob is emboldened and on the march. Four vignettes from around the country: (1) In New York, a pair gay hoteliers are facing angry boycotts because they dared to dine and chat with Ted Cruz. These men are successful businessmen, they're pro-gay marriage, and their political donations through the years have slanted heavily toward Democrats. But fraternizing with the enemy is now a punishable offense:

The two gay hoteliers whose duplex on Central Park was the site of a small dinner this week with Senator Ted Cruz are facing boycott threats to their properties.

It would seem that the experience of the LGBT community would have resulted in them being tolerant of 1st Amendment rights first and foremost, but that has been proven incorrect. In fact at this juncture, fighting for LGBT rights are deemed the right to trump and trample on all others' rights. Talk about bigotry, bias and intolerance! It's time to push back -

There are several claims concerning the origin of this video, but I guess the origin doesn’t matter, just the message. There are many ways to express our deep and growing concerns over the unsustainable insanity of our upside-down world. This one is somewhat artful and worth the 5 minutes to hear and watch it.

“As Attorney General Eric Holder finally departs, he leaves behind a demoralized Justice Department that has been politicized to an unprecedented degree.

Attorneys general are obligated to enforce the law in an objective, unbiased and nonpolitical manner. They must demonstrate the highest regard for the best interests of the public and their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the United States. Prior attorneys general of both political parties, such as Benjamin Civiletti, Griffin Bell, Ed Meese and Michael Mukasey, have fulfilled that duty to the highest ethical and professional standards.

But not Eric Holder. He put the interests of his political boss first, and the interests of the administration of justice a very distant second. When President Obama bent, broke, changed or rewrote the law, the person at his side advising him how to do it was Eric Holder. All the while, he maintained a facade of respect for the rule of law, something for which he and the president have, at times, shown utter contempt.”

It's about time Eric Holder, the most political and worst Attorney General in our Nation's history is going away!!!

FULL STORY

“Alas, the Eric Holder era is over. But critics who think his departure means normalcy will return haven’t been paying attention. Mr. Holder was President Obama’s point man for fundamentally transforming the country, and he did his job well.

At the center of Mr. Holder’s transformative agenda was race. Race has always occupied Mr. Holder’s attention; he once said, “There’s a common cause that bonds the black United States attorney with the black criminal.”

In what could have been a presidency where race faded into America’s rear-view mirror, Mr. Holder turned race into the road map.

It all started in 2009 when I was at the Department of Justice. I witnessed a new way of looking at the law. To Mr. Holder and his newly empowered progressive lawyers, the law was a mere suggestion, not a constraining force.”

Eric Holder enabled race-baiting to be elevated to an artform. Justice is supposed to be color-blind, but someone failed to tell Eric Holder -

“When the Obama administration finally strong arms the Marine Corps in to lowering its standards so that ordinary women can pass the Infantry Officer Course (IOC), maybe America’s enemies will volunteer to fight with one hand tied behind their backs to level the battlefield, too.

Mentally stable Americans have to wonder if liberals dream up such suicidal schemes on their own. Or is this some subversive plot concocted by communist moles and Islamic terrorists merely masquerading as American politicains and military leaders? Normal Americans would think that only our enemies would seek to emasculate and demoralize our military the way this administration is. But to liberals, decimating the military seems to be their idea of patriotism.”

What do you say? Let's be sure we're politically correct even if it kills us -

“The war on cash is proliferating globally. It appears that the private members of the world’s banking cartels are increasingly joining the fun, even if it means trampling on the rights of their customers.

Yesterday we came across an article at Zerohedge, in which Dr. Salerno of the Mises Institute notes that JP Morgan Chase has apparently joined the “war on cash”, by “restricting the use of cash in selected markets, restricting borrowers from making cash payments on credit cards, mortgages, equity lines and auto loans, as well as prohibiting storage of cash in safe deposit boxes”.

This reminded us immediately that we have just come across another small article in the local European press (courtesy of Dan Popescu), in which a Swiss pension fund manager discusses his plight with the SNB’s bizarre negative interest rate policy. In Switzerland this policy has long ago led to negative deposit rates at the commercial banks as well. The difference to other jurisdictions is however that negative interest rates have become so pronounced, that it is by now worth it to simply withdraw one’s cash and put it into an insured vault.

Having realized this, said pension fund manager, after calculating that he would save at least 25,000 CHF per year on every CHF 10 m. deposit by putting the cash into a vault, told his bank that he was about to make a rather big withdrawal very soon. After all, as a pension fund manager he has a fiduciary duty to his clients, and if he can save money based on a technicality, he has to do it.”

This little story (of great concern) hasn't really gained any traction with mainstream media outlets. Apparently they have enough on their plate from Hillary's 'corruption de jour' -
